As a member of Gary Reef's Loving Mixed Media, I was recently introduced to fellow member, Greg Hanson, and his wonderful assemblages that are very reminiscent of the great artist, Joseph Cornell.
Greg, from Portland, OR, is a prolific artist who shares his knowledge through YouTube. I love to watch his videos as he shows his process. He may start with one design but as he tweaks it to its final stages, there is often a quirky little twist. I absolutely love his work and now have a few ideas of my own for using some cigar boxes that have been sitting in my closet.
You can watch Greg here: Taking Collage to Assemblage.
Or see his self-published book through Blurb An Outburst of Impassioned Eloquence | Book Preview.
