When I returned from Encausticamp, Builder Bob was already preparing frames for my new creations.
I'm very lucky to have such a collaborative husband. It's been that way from the beginning of our nearly 40 years together. I visualize and he makes it happen. It's been especially helpful since I started doing more complicated assemblages and believe me, he isn't complaining. His workshop has grown immensely with equipment since he started making my frames two years ago and now he is building furniture, too. Now we are thinking, less house and more workshop/studio space.
I am going to be vending at the Proctor Arts Festival tomorrow. If you are in Tacoma, stop by and say hello.
Here are some of the items I'll be sharing, most of them made in Trish Saggebruch's Dyeing in Encaustic class, along with my Santos Dolls, paintings and assemblages. Hope to see you there!
