This workshop with Andrea Matus deMeng was all about wearing masks or creating ones for the images that we selected to collage, paint and add ephemera to. We learned how to use Aves clay which I already use in my assemblage work (and highly recommend), to make additions to our pieces by molding, sculpting and repurposing from jewelry or other found objects. This was an opportunity to relax and just have fun putting everything together. Of course, I brought back unfinished pieces for Builder Bob to make frames for me. He does such great work.
